Todd Pomerleau, 32, has been accused of pointing a gun at a customer
A store owner has been arrested for pulling a gun on a woman in her 60s when she complained about finding bedbugs in furniture she had rented.
Customer Barbara Jones claims Todd Pomerleau,32, pointed a shot-gun at her because he did not want to hear her complaints about parasites in the rented couch and love seat.
Ms Jones had gone to the furniture store in Lake County, Florida and refused to pay her bill despite the store fumigating her furniture for free because she was still unhappy.
‘He said, ‘You’re not going to leave the store.’ I said, ‘Who’s going to stop me?” Jones told WESH.
‘He went over and got the gun, loaded and pointed at me.’
Police stated they did not find any bullets in the gun at Todd and Terry’s Rento-to-Own store.
Pomerleau claims it is an antique and does not work, reports WESH.
Pomerleau’s mom Joann reportedly tried to stop her son from taking aim at their disgruntled customer during the incident on Friday.

Pomerleau, pictured, stated he regrets his actions and bringing the antique gun into the argument
‘You do not do that. It’s very unprofessional and un-businesses like to pull a shotgun over an argument,’ Fruitland Park Police Chief Terry Isaacs told WESH,
Pomerleau stated he regrets his actions. ‘It’s totally my fault. It’s something I never should have done,’ he told WESH.

‘I will never do business with them anymore,’ Ms Jones said.
She told WESH that the bedbugs could have come from another customer, but not from her home.
Pomerleau stated that it was impossible that the parasites could have come from his store, according to the report.
He has been charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and was booked into the Lake County jail under $7,000 bond.
