The Rowans Hospice Trading Company is delighted to announce that its warehouse at Farlington will now be open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am-4.30pm.

The warehouse, which is conveniently located near Sainsburys, holds good quality furniture plus a wide range of books and bric-a-brac all available at very reasonable prices. A team of volunteers has been working hard to get the warehouse ready for customers on a daily basis and is looking forward to welcoming visitors at the grand opening on Monday 27 February.

Vanessa Gilding, Facilities Manager for The Rowans Hospice Trading Company, said: “Our shops have proven to be a good source of income for the Hospice and we really appreciate the support from our local community. It is an exciting development to have our warehouse open six days a week too to boost the existing income from our shops.”

“We can also accept donations of good quality items throughout the week which will give us a regular supply of fresh stock for customers to select from,” Vanessa continued.

The Rowans Hospice operates a total of ten shops, plus a furniture warehouse in Farlington, which all play a vital role helping to raise funds to care for local people living with life-limiting illness. Last year the Trading Company generated a profit of £232,463, which went towards funding The Rowans Hospice.
